Data collected
With a request: name, email address, dates, number of guests, messages exchanged with the host. Payments are processed by Stripe; the website neither receives nor stores your card details.
Under the damage policy: your consent to it (its version and text, date and time, IP address and browser), and any damage claim with its evidence (photos, receipts, estimates) and your answers.
Purposes and legal bases
Managing the booking and the stay, talking with you, charging and refunding (performance of the contract); meeting accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
Recipients
The host; Stripe for payments; DeepL SE (Cologne, Germany) to translate messages in Korean, Japanese or Chinese exchanged with the host; the email provider and the website host, for their task only. No data is sold.
Retention
Booking data and messages are kept as long as the booking requires, then archived for the legal periods (10 years for accounting records).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your data, or object to its processing, by writing to hello@petitmarceau.com. You can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
